I don't know if it's optimism or ignorance, but I like how patient I am with my current situation. Waiting for emails and letters so that I can get my life going again, but it's uncertain how long I need to wait.

I am quite knowledgeable on several subjects (psychology, politics, biology, geo-economics, history etc.). Other than that I speak Dutch, English, and German. I can read and translate ancient Greek and Latin.

Literature wise, I'm kind of over the ones that get filed in the "classics" section, if that's what you're asking. Looking through it at the local bookshop we had a whole bunch of swift, twain, dickens &c. at my house that I'd already read quite early.

Focusing on softer cogsci in my non-fiction atm, while bouncing around lit and SF for pleasure.

Kind of have too many non fiction books of note sitting around waiting to be read, but some of them have been tackled. History reading's ticking up too.

But yeah it is only the beginnings. Not there yet.

I'd have a bookcase and a half of SF alone if I hadn't had to cull, but, still have the top shelf at least.

Probably yeah. I'd recommend getting the same books you would need if you'd take a class in either of them. It will contain texts to translate, with each being more difficult than the last one, and a list of new vocab for every text. It will also slowly introduce more intricate grammar.
Personally I learned more from the books I had to get, than the actual lectures. I cannot recommend books to you, because the ones I got are in Dutch (Vivat Roma! as an example).

To add on to that, YouTube has gotten so big, I bet there are enough videos nowadays out there which can help you with learning ancient languages. If you do need some form of lectures.
Latin grammar can get difficult btw, so use tricks. Like memorizing sum es est sumus estis sunt to the rhythm of the macarena.

I know a good amount of history, judging by the last few days I seem to be good at flirting, I know how to dress well for an occasion, and when I'm up to it, I can be fun to talk to.

I'm a skilled musician and writer. I have a really attractive face, even if sometimes I don't believe so.

I have a nice face and I have a likeable personality.

Failure after failure, I still have the will to improve, and I think it's starting to pay off.

I have only thought about killing myself five times today.
