Don't just take it out. Put it in your own words. Putting things in your own words actually teaches it to you. By formalizing things in your mind and articulating the thoughts you are actually going through a learning process in your head. This doesn't mean just change a few words. Take some notes on what your friend was saying and then write something based off that.

That being said this is only high school and no one will care or notice unless its the same prof your friend had. Even then there will be no lasting consequences other than a slap on the wrist and feeling embarrassed. Post Secondary and beyond is when Plagiarism matters.

They do use Turnitin, that much I know, and no, we both have different teachers, however hers was and still is the science curriculum leader, which is my major concern.

Swap his paragraphs round and use online thesaurus to change words. Delete bits at random and add whatever bullshit in to fill. Sorted.

Do it yourself. You will feel better about it and actually learn what you're supposed to. Knowledge is power so put in the work and reap the rewards. If you cut corners your going to be that person the rest of your life. Unreliable and a cheater. Take pride in your work!

Since you have a different tezcher, you should look at his paper. What is the purpose of each paragraph? Keep the same goal that each paragraph has, but rewrite it a different way. The key is to work at that scale, rather than sentence by sentence.
