Stop treating women like a different species. Just talk. Have a conversation like you would with anybody else. Women, like everyone else on the planet, just like having fun and connecting with people even if its not romantically. You'd be amazed how much better women respond to you when you're just talking and joking and having a good time and not treating them like a prize you're trying to win.

Women can absolutely tell when you're doing some lame routine to pick them up and any decent woman with half a brain will shut that shit down. You're being very robot about this with your "introduce, compliment, number" routine. Its weird and trust me when I say it looks and sounds unnatural, dude.

Just talk. If you want to make a woman comfortable around you and disengage her immediate anti-man defense mechanism that she has in public just treat her like you would anybody else and have a nice, light hearted conversation about literally anything.

I have no clue how to strike up a casual lighthearted conversation in public. That's totally alien to me. I just don't do it, and I don't see anyone else doing it anywhere, ever, unless those people are already friends. Not to mention I'm going out with the explicit purpose of getting a chick on my dick, if what I do doesn't lead to that happening there's no point in doing it. I've had several girlfriends but they've all just come on to me. I just wasn't so lucky this semester. Hence why I have no clue how to approach women, since I've never needed to do so before.

Maybe I don't care to leave my house for any other reason than to have sex is because I have everything I need? I've got my job, my gigs are lined up fine. I've got my friends, I see them regularly enough. I've got my fitness equipment. I've got groceries. Given the choice between wandering over to the mall to throw away more of my hard-earned cash on clothes when I've already got an awesome wardrobe and *possibly* (almost definitely not) finding an opportunity to start an actual conversation with a chick and chilling out at home, recording a mix, and watching YouTube, I'll take the latter.

How exactly do you go up to a stranger of the opposite sex, outside of a bar/club/other places explicitly meant for socialization, and start a conversation without any situational icebreakers, without coming off as a total weirdo? If you go up to a chick in a department store or bus stop and are like "Hey did you hear about that sports?" she's going to look at you like you've got three heads because that's honestly a retarded thing to do and it comes off as very weird.

On the flipside, if you go up and compliment a chick, she knows exactly why you're doing it, and that reason is to try and get with her. Some chicks won't like this, others will. Your intentions are made clear and they're very obviously understandable, most people aren't like you, they understand that people want to fuck other people. Doing what I did today gives them a simple choice and an easy way out of the situation without seeming in any way rude. Just don't say anything, or just say thanks, and that's it, or carry on the conversation. Believe it or not, women are humans too, and sometimes women just want to get a hot guy into bed just like men sometimes want to get hot women into bed.
