Saying from a family that lives from agriculture, don't do it unless you really like. Its is really stressful and depends on wether, and all those discussion about organics and shit

Mom has a degree in agriculture and has a business. Makes pretty good money.
Still - work is demanding, you can't really choose when you go on holiday (work is seasonal) but it is relatively secure.
You can probably get a decent job with Monsanto or something
General rule I follow is search for your degree on indeed or monster and see if anything good comes up for it. If not, it's maybe not a good idea
Land based industries such as Agriculture, Horticulture, Silviculture etc. can all be rewarding and lucrative fields but you should really look into getting some practical experience before undertaking a degree - most entry level positions require few qualifications and it would do you a lot of good, if only to understand the areas of industry better and make sure it's something you want to pursue. It's also worth noting that they are by no means expanding industries like the tech fields, with much of the focus being on efficiency improvements and minimising unskilled labour (pickers etc.), however there are plenty of opportunities where this can play to your advantage.

What about Fire Technology? I was always interested in becoming a fire fighter.
