I forgot to add, what really makes this difficult is our social class. I'm from a rich family and graduating college soon, whereas she's from an alcoholic family that chain smokes and cut. She's not even in high school, so obviously it shows I don't think highly of her. I think she's really mature for her age, but I've dated a girl with problems, and it went terrible.

If you can't be swayed by the fact that there's a developmental gulf between you—knowledge, experience, emotional stability, money, maturity, etc.—that would make the relationship exploitative, perhaps you can be swayed by the fact that it makes you a fucking loser who wants to hang around people who are "lesser" than you are instead of mingling with people who are actually on your level. What a shallow loser you are to want to be with someone in high school when you're in your 20's. It also says a lot about you if women your age don't want anything to do with you.

16 year old here. I'm from a rich family and this 20 year old boy is from an not so good one, he's depressive and alcoholic. I love him but I feel it would be better to just be really good friends as we are today, maybe it's not worth to try anything
