I had the same exact issue and as fucking dumb as it sounds, it works.

Start faking arrogance. Act confident, but confident to the point it's a fucking joke. For example,

>"Thank you, I'm the greatest fucking person on earth. Better than you too."
It slowly turns into genuine confidence, girls see it as being an assertive asshole which is attractive in a way and it's funny.

The keyword is "joke". Anyone with at least a double digit IQ gets that it's a joke and you placebo yourself into belieiving you're hot shit.

Look, I fully realize it's dumb, I know it won't work for everybody, possibly anybody, but it gave me a good confidence, I can't explain it.

Another upside is that, when it's obviously a joke and overly exaggerated arrogance, it shows that you aren't afraid to have a little fun, or play the fool, and that you don't take yourself too seriously.

Also consider what topics you are knowledgeable about. Everyone has some niche knowledge. When you know a topic, it's easy to act confident and convicted about it.
