I tend to crash as the day wears on, and now just energy-wise, I get all anxious and depressed and start catastrophizing about everything. How can I counteract this? Better diet, more exercise, go to bed earlier? Any tips?
*not
Maybe you drink too much coffee in the morning and it's a caffeine crash

Diet & exercise can always help. But don't eat or exercise for at least 2 hours before going to bed.

Or a sugar crash.
Maybe medication would help. Or therapy. Or just some oolong tea at night.
What are your major stressors? Try to avoid them as much as possible.
Don't look at any computer screens just before you sleep. Something about the blue light messes your brain up.
I would recommend not trying to sleep until you are actually tired.
Do you blaze it? Might help.

Thats a meme dude. I work with computers and technology all day and fall asleep with no problems
Make sure you have something to do - reading, movies, whatever. The mind needs to be occupied or it goes haywire.

Yeah, I usually don't follow my own advice.
But, like, science.
Try meditation.
Every time you have a negative thought, counteract it with a positive one.
Take a walk & get some fresh air in the evening.
Are you dehydrated? Health experts say you're supposed to drink 37 gallons of water a day.
But seriously, get enough water.
>Wow, I just gave myself some really good advice
