I'm not depressed anymore and weed helped a lot actually. Addiction is something that is widely misunderstood in psychology due to the rat-cocaine-addiction trials. It was redone in later years and it uncovered that addiction has mostly to do with environment and external factors rather than internal. Sure, your body gets used to the chemicals, get resistant etc., but it's not harder to break that than a habit of, say, looking to the right first before crossing a road.

How the fuck do people smoke weed every day? It's fun and feels pretty nice (most of the time) but it also comes with a massive brain fog that lasts all day. Plus it just gets old if you do it all the time...I even got sick of smoking every weekend. It loses its magic so fast for me.

Imagine being in that stoned and dazed practically 24/7...I just don't fucking get it at all. How does that appeal to people?

Never met a person IRL who smoked every day who was actually intelligent and functioned well, contrary to all the "I smoke weed daily and I'm at the top of my class" anecdotes I read on the internet.
