/adv I'm faced with a situation where im going to have to be homeless for a time I have a certain amount of camping/survival supplies stocked up already so instead of sleeping on the streets I was gonna stay in the desert around the valley I live in, I want advice though since this is the sonoran desert in California and I wanted to know what foods I should bring that wont spoil over these next two months, I have oatmeal, rice and dried beans stocked up, but what else should I bring I can't think of much that won't go bad in the 100+ degree heat over the next 2 months which is probably how long I'll be living in my tent, also any general advice on what I should have with me as well to make this go as smoothly as homelessness in the desert during summer can be.

Do you have a vehicle?

oh yeah just to clarify, being homeless as well as sleeping/sitting on the side walk or outside in public areas is illegal in my city and surrounding area

no I do not
Set up your car near a church that feeds the homeless. It'll make your supplies stretch for a lot longer.

You can try workaway instead camping.
