Should I contact my ex girlfriend or not?

So we broke up over a year ago. Few months later I started dating my current girlfriend. Ex girlfriend contacted me and just started chatting and wanted to be friends, my girlfriend didn't like it so I blocked my ex completely out of my life. I see she is also happy in a relationship now.

I feel like I'm over her. Like I absolutely love my current girlfriend, I just feel like I didn't really have any closure, ties were just severed with my ex and I feel like I haven't really explained to my ex why and I just wanted things to end on good terms, say a goodbye hope you are well type thing.

Is it even worth messaging her?
