Going for a new job.
Worried about my personal information online.
Worried about previous people in my life knowing all about me and where I am.
As a student to now I've had little information on Google.
If go to working world everything will have to be on FB and Google. Sell all my information.
I was thinking of using a 'professional' name. Be clear with employers. These all my details but for front facing work I want to be Mr. X
What would be the issue if any of doing this?
Who gives a shit about the previous people, cause I'm sure they dove give a shit about you either. This is such an non issue that a thread tragically died for this.

Ok. Assuming they don't.
For general privacy reasons etc
What would be the issues against using a different name

If you really have to have social media accounts for this job then just set them to private like most people.

Did you're missing the point of the question entirely.
Professional work involves being referenced online for many things involving work, articles events etc
I don't want the name showing for all these. With that in mind, what are the negatives to using a new same?

Just go by a pin name. You still need to provide your real name to your position but when writing down your name, put your pin name in quotations so that your job and fellow employers can refer to you by that.
