What do you mean by this? Are you simply assuming things based off of how they look?

It's more of a problem with you, probably. I know a few people that I maybe would have effectively disliked if I just heard about them or their imperfections, but they're a shit ton of fun when actually hanging out and are good, supportive friends.

This school has a max of MAYBE 800 but really I'd say I've only seen like 70 different people on a day to day basis and thats when I really look for them.

I've genuinely given a try, not the /r9k/ try where no effort is made or they talk to 3 people and given up. I've talked to tons of people and hung out with a variety, its actually easy to just jump into a group> its just that at the end of the day I don't actually enjoy trying to have a personal relationship with alot of these people from my experiences, we just dont click

I don't want to just sit alone in my dorm for four years but its starting to look that way

Join student groups. Made a lot of friends in my rock climbing group for example. Rocks may be too left leaning for you though I don't know how you feel about geology.
