That does not make you cowardice. That makes you smart for the most part. If you are part of a society (America) in which honesty can get you in trouble, it is better to life.

If, however, you want to be honest for the sake of being honest. Well, I suggest you stop lying. If you are a compulsive liar, then you need to stop in your tracks, give yourself a reality check, and think before you...lie. I am on your side though, I hate lying. So, when I know I can't lie and I can't be honest, I be vague.
