Is there any sin greater than mediocrity?
Seriously
There is nothing more unforgivable, no bigger
affront to humanity and existence, no greater fault one can have than to be unforgetable and middle of the road.
Yeah, being worse than mediocre

That's not possible.
both extremes are more respectable.
Being bad is worse
>>18295618
Yes it is:
Good
Mediocre
Bad
And this is coming from someone who listens to private press releases half the time; there's value in the unorthodox, but let's not redefine good and bad as a single concept, "unusual"

your heirarchy is wrong
it's
Savant
World Class
Excellent
Good
Mediocre
Bad
>>18295626
>private press releases
Are you implying this is something respectable, out of the ordinary, or something noteworthy at all?
What's your background?
Not sure what kind of person i'm dealing with here
Op is too busy jacking off into his own open mouth to make posts

That's like saying my map is wrong and handing me a world map but I'm using a US map and trying to explain that oklahoma isn't south of texas

shibbolethed a worthless subhuman
get some standards, kid

I'm saying I have respect for stuff that is often seen as "so bad it's good" or valuable strictly not for being MOR. However, I disagree with this concept. I think if something's good, it's good, it's not good just because it isn't MOR. Wasn't trying to be a hipster. By private press I more or less mean outsider music if that better explains what I mean
>>18295626
the word you are looking for is novel
novelty is the only truly good thing in life
>>18295654
What if novelty contributes to goodness but isn't the same thing?
