I need some basic legal advise.
I have had my rent in my Bank account since April 30th and my payment portal has said pic related. After May 4th I noticed the money wasn't deducted so I contacted my landlord and they said the wrong account information was submitted. I went and resubmitted the payment (it wont actually let you submit invalid account information) and my bank still has not been hit with a fee. My landlord has went unresponsive on the matter, threatening to charge me late fees if the payment doesn't process this time.
Their software isn't removing the payment from my account when the money is there, is it legal to charge late fees when a tenant has the money but the payment software they use isn't removing the money?
I'm in Denver.
How about you call the bank?

I did, they said that nothing from their company has been received or rejected and provided documentation.
I just risk being evicted if I (rightly) refuse to pay late fees for their form not working correctly. Whats worse is they're not responding to my emails and I'm potentially being billed while awaiting their reply.
Go to your bank and get the money in cash, pay in cash and get a receipt.

I cant they wont accept cash/money order or I would have done that from the start because its my preference.

I would call your tenant helpline. I'm not sure it would be legal for them to refuse cash. It says "for all debts public and private" right on it.
