Full time military here.
Decided to go back to scool again on the government's dime.
I went thru 2 years of community college before enlisting.
I'm being thrown into 300 level classes when I transfer my credits.
How hard are 300 level classes? I haven't been to school in practically 10 years.

school is the most expensive brainwashing in the world. Didn't you get enough in the service?

oh nvm, you get your tax payers to pay. I can't answer your question because I have no idea what classes and levels have to do with eachother. Betting you're american

They are just more focused than basics. I recommend a light load going back in because it really depends on how well you performed initially. They also expect you to know quite a bit from the basic level, so you may need to give yourself a refresher.

Yep.
American overseas my entire career 10 years in.
Going for a cyber security degree.
I was gonna wean myself with just 1 class at first but because of prior education, everything is advanced/upper level classes.
Should I pick a class based on the curriculum and how easy it looks thru the grading process?

Alright, that's not the worst degree to be gunning for. I currently have a leadership position in an ITdepartment, works pretty good.
If you're a smart guy I'm sure you'll be able to catch up with the other students in the class with some effort no matter how advanced the class' starting point is. Don't be scared of some advanced looking math, you just gotta learn the formulas for it to make sense.

Professor writing here.
It depends on the field. In some subjects, like math, the courses are often progressive - calc 2 builds on calc 1, and calc 3 builds on calc 2, and so on. With them, it being a while since you had the basics might prove a problem.
Other fields, like English or History, generally organize their numbers by subject rather than degree of difficulty. So English 301 might be the English novel and English 401 the American novel, with no real difference in difficulty.
What IS true is that when you get into 300 and above the classes will be almost entirely students majoring in the subject. So the professors feel confident pitching lectures and assignments at a higher level, and competition for grades might be higher.

Not difficult, just put the time in for reviewing and studying the material early on, preferably not the the day before.
Like the good professor said, I've had 300 level courses with a harder/competitive curriculum than 400 level grad courses. All depends
Don't procrastinate. Do that shit early
