>he takes advice form /adv/
He left his containment board
It's okay if they aren't asking about relationships. Which are what 90% of threads are about. People don't realize they can refer to anecdotes. People who think they are experts because they can get laid on Tinder.

I only really come on here to give advice when I'm feeling a little lonely as weird as that sounds. But I seriously cannot be bothered for relationship shit all the time because its all the same shit

/adv/ is the real containment board.

How?

Ex-/v/ poster here.
/adv/ is as good as this shit hole gets unless you go to /out/.

Because otherwise
>tfw no gf
Would spill everywhere.

/v/ is maybe the second or third worst board here. Maybe you just browse shit boards.

But R9K is where the >tfw no gf meme spawned. I used to browse R9K before it got to that point. It had some pretty good stories and still does, but the negativity can be overwhelming.
Albiet, this place still does "tfw when gf"...but it does contain relationshit problems. Each board does it's job, but its quite unfortunate on how /b/ is now a angsty shadow of it's former self.

/r9k/ is the depression board at this point, but it has a charm to it for that reason. Whereas here, people will go on and on about how the chick in math class yawned in their direction. I like giving advice, but I've always found the best advice on here to come from unlikely people on unlikely boards, /r9k/ being one of them.

Agree. Ive found some gems on there too. I like to screencap advice that looks legit for future use. When i finally look back at it, it just further internalizes lessons ive learned from my own experiences in life.
Id oughta visit, its been months
