Just wondering if I should see a doctor for something dumb. I drink alot of water every day, ranging from 6-10+ liters a day (easy to count since I drink from 2L soda bottles). My question is, is this amount enough to worry about or just me being a thirsty person?
TEN FUCKING LITERS? You should definitely see a doctor, it might diabetes. Unless you are a bedouin manual labourer in the Sahara or something.

Well shit that would suck. Saw that as a possibility when I googled this but thought that might just be for more extreme cases. Thanks.
I almost died from drinking seven liters of water.
I try to drink a few liters a day, but you are surely overdoing it.
As a side-note, if its not thirst-related consumption, you are most likely wreaking havoc on your kidneys. The recommended intake of water per day is anywhere between 1-2 litres depending on your activity level that day.

I don't try I just drink when I'm thirsty. I do piss alot though.

Hopefully you are just eating too much salt but yeah there is something wrong with you and yeah you can destroy your kidneys and end up on dialysis at an early age and dialysis sucks

More like "sucks hard". I have heard that the needles they use to tap your veins are more like something you would expect a vet to use on a horse than in human medicine. As all people are of different size and have different metabolisms the best way to judge your fluid intake is by the colour of your piss - it should be a light, pale yellow, like what you get from mixing one part clear apple juice with one part water.
Hey weighing in here. Different anon. I drink a lot because I'm thirsty but also have to pee a lot. I can drink up to 1500 ml or more per day.
Is this normal? Peeing so much is starting to negatively impact my life, but at the same time, it only happens because I drink a lot, I think.
Note: I drink more when I'm hot. My work is not air-conditioned, has no openable windows, and no fans. I have trouble breathing at work too. But I also drink lots because I'm hot. Outside of work I don't drink nearly as much
Do you think from all I've said I could have diabetes?

Doesn't sound likely.

Are you thirsty or is it just something you force yourself to do?
If you're that thirsty it's a serious fucking problem and you need to see a doctor ASAP. Diabetes, thyroid, etc.
If you're not thirsty and just drinking all that water for no raising you're destroying your kidneys.
