Okay so I'm looking to apply to the following colleges:
UC Berkeley (Priority)
UCLA (Priority)
URochester (Priority)
Emory (Priority)
Carnegie Mellon (Priority)
My safeties are Wake Forest, Villanova, Northeastern and NYU.
I have a 1450 SAT w/ GPA: 3.6-7 UW and 3.9-4.0 W.
What do? I have a really good essay, and I do Harlem Youth Court, Debate, some aid work in Bangladesh, and volunteer at the National MS Society. Plus, I do my school's t i n y tech club.
I am looking to do either a Major in MechE w/ Minor in Economics or full pre-Law.

Well first things first: can you afford any of these unis? Look into realistically what you can afford to do and act accordingly. Your grades should be good enough to be accepted to the majority of those at least.

Quads of truth. These schools give very little financial aid if you are not black, Hispanic, or a beggar.
Your GPA isn't too strong, and nor is your SAT score. You should still apply to all the schools you've listed (if you can afford to do so), but you should also apply to a few state schools.

>3.6-7 unweighted
if you're not black or a spic you're probably not getting in to Berkeley or UCLA

I listed my ethnicity as "Pacific Islander" on my SAT's is that helps. Regarding states schools: the ones in NY suck.
