Maybe I just have some bad friends, but I can't count on them.
When I tell them come here at a certain time, they come late.
They cancel appointments at the last minute.
They are unreliable.
When they are loyal they basically suck at anything else.
Friends that don't suck betray me.
That's fairly normal, m8. If they blow you off all the time, they're not good friends, but everyone shows up late or cancels plans sometimes. Unless money is being spent, you can't really treat a social engagement as an "appointment"
Lmao friends suck nowadays compared to what time period? You just have shitty friends or are expecting too much from your friends.
I love my friends and my friends love me, if you don't like your friends find new ones.

I've found people in general are hesitant to commit to events because they fear something better will come along.
That said, if they do bail on you they aren't good friends.
>they come late
That's a non issue. Some people are good about being on time, some aren't.

>betray me
like what? what the fuck does this even mean? unless you're creating a secret new business that's going to be the next big thing, what is this for?
only two people out of my whole community do i feel comfortable bringing over beers. not only will i have a good time, but they will invite me to drink their beers on the next date. kind of a mutual thing, you share i share.
thats two people out of this fucked up community
Others you can get them shitfaced hammered and they will start shit and act up. fuckin freeloaders.
>point: get some good friends you can count on

I think it may be harder to find more commited friends in this age of connectivity. It's way easier to cancel nowadays because of phones. Back in the day before the age of cell phones, you could tell someone "hey lets meet here in 3 days at 4pm" and they would sure hell be there.

Now Now. Don't be pedantic, you knew what he meant.
