I'm at a point in my life where I need to go back to school. I was going for web development but I don't think that's something I want to do... I love making music but there's no guarantee that I'll land a job after I get out of school.
I want to work a 9-5 desk job and make enough to support myself and have a decent car and house. But I have to apply for college like, very soon but I have no clue what I want to do. I'd prefer to only go for 2 years to get on my own two feet, can't be living with my parents for another 4 years...
Any ideas?

Just go in undeclared / gen ed / liberal arts and take specific electives to see what really interests you.

Automation and drones are the future so anything having to do with them will be s long term winner. You don't need a 4 year degree. Find a good technical school.
