But I heard IT is being tooken by pajeets and computer science is "hard".

Be careful. Just being into computers doesnt give you the ability to learn computer science.
The IT man is right. I have also heard from an aquaintence claiming it was "note heavy". Already know what this means. It requires calculous level math skills and such. Only go for this if youre a big math person.

I am studying IT in a college and so far so good,
don't listen to other dips saying shit about IT, everything's fine.
>But I heard IT is being tooken by pajeets and computer science is "hard".
Yeah it's hard. You should do something easy instead. I heard those easy degrees are in high demand.

I am a sysadmin OP, and I only have a highschool diploma. The best thing to do is dive deep in Windows administration and networking/cisco. Provided your not into going the software coding or database route.

Cis seems more useful in a businesses field. I know a girl who is making 75k right out of college with that degree.

If you're going into IT because you enjoy videogames don't do it. I did computer engineering because of that and regret it every day.
If you genuinely enjoy actual computers then it's fine. IT jobs tend to be either the most relaxed shit ever or ridiculously stressful depending on the company.
Also going for IT in a job prospect way is never a bad idea since it's something that is always going to be needed so it's easy to find a job with.

Not OP, but I'd like to go for computer engineering with a side in mechanical so I can build prosthetics. I know that likely falls under biomechanical engineering, but that seems like a pretty niche field that doesn't have as many opportunities.
