same here. Idk too much on trades though however i did see air traffic controller and pilot jobs as 100k potential, but only in the commercial range. Ive done some research.

Not Op, I'm having troubles choosing my degree. In highschool I was really good at physics and math and I've never had any trouble with them so I'm gonna make use of that.

So i've been thinking about either electric, electromechanic or mechatronic engineering.
I guess those options have good pay in usa right?
Maybe I could work at some project as a supervisor or some shit.

If this helps, I like computers stuff a lot but as a career, i will have no luck with software engineering.
I also had fun with the circuits and electricity subjects on my physics class.

Short, I want to be some sort of engineer that earns good and enjoy my career.

If you're good at physics and math you should try going into aerospace engineering. (That's my major).

Become a union electrician and get all the necessary licenses to have your own company. Union job with full benefits and extra money coming from your house visits. It depends where you live ofc but still should be making some 150k-200k after 7ish years. At first without your company probs around 60k a year for your associates. Get the max allowed money hitting your 401k and you'll be sitting on around 5-7k a month after you retire at 55. Easy work for good pay
