People don't come here for advice, they come here for validation. Most of the people who come here already know what decision they're going to make, they're just so immature and dysfunctional that the only way they can process that decision is by surrounding themselves with people that agree with them and insulting people who don't.

The worst mistake you can make is thinking for even a second that the mindsets of the people here represent anything resembling a majority of the world. These people are outliers in the most extreme sense; racists, misogynists, nationalists, pedophiles and the mentally ill all flock here in giant numbers because the real world does not provide them with the echo chamber that they require to validate themselves and their dysfunctional ideas. There is no challenge to grow and change anymore. There is no necessity to participate in introspection and do some hard thinking about your ideals. There's sometimes legit advice being dolled out here but just like anything and anywhere else you should take it with a grain of salt. If you don't understand that simple concept and take everything here for face value then frankly that's sometimes you should fix before seeking advice. I won't lie. I shitpost here a lot but I do doll out some legit advice based on my personal experiences on topics or things I've experienced. While it's all merely anecdotal it gives someone the insight of someone else, and it's up to them do with with it what they may. I've seen some dumb shit posted on here from people who have no idea what they're talking about, and conversely I've seen some pretty insightful advice being given. Is is THE answer? No, but it should give some perspective.

I'm 30 years old. I've had 7 relationships over the years and fucked twice as many girls. I've been working since I was 15. I've done the service industry, I've done construction, and I currently work in the oil patch. For the most part I'm what most people here would consider a normie.
