I have very bad past experiences from following douche PUA tutorials. That's why from now I just try to be friendly with girls. Atleast when I'm rejected in m rejected for being my true self, and not faking to be some douche making her jealous.

You can't measure things like this. It works how it works.
A new girl got hired at my work and she caught my eye from our first introduction and it took about a month of getting to know her to realize I had a pretty serious crush on her and another month (including one rejected pizza date) before we actually hung out.

Don't be. In my situation I was certain I could carry on a conversation because during the two months before we hung out outside of work we found common interests. If you can't find them and use them to have a free-flowing conversation, perhaps it's time to move on.
