I have loads of change in weird currencies and I need to find a way to use them. IS it possible to use them in automatic machines (like soda machines or automatic check out)? How do the machines read coins and is it possible to fool them somehow and think my coins are local currency coins? If you know of some trick used in your country or with your currency pls reply. Am in Europe if that helps.
probably not. they usually do it by weight/size. so unless it's exactly the size/weight of a quarter or dime or whatever it probably wont work
that being said i used to have these weird metal slugs that my construction worker step dad once had. and they DID work in vending machines and i used to scam a soda machine by some batting cages over and over one summer as a kid

So find something that looks similar and test it?
Someone recommended me to try them on slot machines. That way I can turn them into 'real money' if I win, but I'm thinking it might be a risk in case I do win a fair sum and I get accused of swindling the company or something. I mean, they will not find it acceptable that people use worthless coins, and while soda companies won't give a shit, gambling business probably will.

Ever tried taking it to a bank? Y'know, a place that's designed to take money?

If you can find a slot machine that still takes coins maybe. Casinos nowadays use a barcode on a piece of paper and don't even track tokens. They might have numismatic value.

You're a faggot, they'll tell him to take out anything that isn't that bank's currency. Foreign banks aren't obligated to take coins for currency exchange, and I've never seen one that did.

1.they don't accept foreign currency and tell me to go to a currency exchange office (standard for all banks here)
2.currency exchange office tells me they don't accept coins only bills
3.don't know anyone who is going to the countries or who come from there, and even if I did it's not enough money from each country to make it worth taking out a favor from someone.

Then it sounds like you're going to do jack shit with that money.

Very true, but I think I've seen some old school machines around, especially on very small rural towns and carnivals/fun fairs. The latter is my big hope because they are so busy scamming normal people that they keep their technosavvy on the low so their own behavior can't be tracked. At least the carnivals around here.
What coins are they

a lot of coins from random Eastern European countries, some British coins. Random Asian coins. Some Latin American ones. Most of it is Eastern euro.
