Hello. Any doctors here that can help me? Yestetday i woke up with a kidney pain. I dont do drugs, smoke or eat junk food, I am for 1 month on a shredding diet. When I went to the gym, the pain intesiffed more and more. It feels like somebody strangle my kidney, i feel it on the back right, below the last rib. When I stay in bad, is a fucking hell. When I try to change the side of the bad, with my body, hurts like hell. When I stay on my belly, i fucking cant stand, i have to fucking roll. If I remember, it actually started when I was on a wierd posision in bad, and I sneezed, and then feelt this kind of pain(I know it sounds stupid). I experienced this pain last year, but only last a few days. Now I have to study for some exams next week and I dont really want to waist time at doctor, but if it's necessery, i'll go

kidneys are serious business anon, you should go if you're sure that's what it is
take it from someone who's had a couple infections
Go to the ER, with kidney problems it's important to look into it quickly.
You wouldn't believe how many people die, or become permanently disabled, because they tried to tough out a serious medical issue.
My uncle is blind because he elected to not go see a doctor after a serious accident, in which they 100% could have restored his eyesight.
We really need a sticky.
IF YOU HAVE A TROUBLING MEDICAL PROBLEM, DO NOT ASK FOR ADVICE ON THIS BOARD, GO SEE A PROFESSIONAL. NO, NO EXCEPTIONS.
This applies to everyone but goes double for you, OP. Don't ever mess around with flank pain. Ever. There's too much serious shit that can cause that.

Anon. Are you eating or drinking high amounts of protein? Because your body can only process so much at once, about 8oz's at most... could cause kidney stones man.

Med here. My bet would be a kidney stone. It hurts like a mf, pain comes and goes and most of the time happens to one of the kidneys at a time. Pretty easy to diagnose with physical exam, blood samples, US and CT.

That is like a textbook case of a kidney stone.
It will probably pass on its own, but you should visit a doctor just in case. Large stones may not pass on their own, and the pain is severe enough to warrant opioids.
