I am growing cherry tomatoes from seeds in a container with a tomato cage this year. I didn't think I'd have much success, so I poked a few holes in the soil, put in 2 to 3 seeds, and waited a week. To my surprise, everything worked better than expected and all the seeds sprouted, resulting in many tiny cherry tomato seedlings.
Wtf do I do with all the seedlings? I just want one plant. Do I wait to see who's the strongest seedling? Or do I pluck out the seedlings I don't want? Are they edible? Will they make me sick if I eat them?

Let them be for a while then pick the strongest discard the rest.

throw some in smaller pots and keep them very well pruned for a fun experiment.

Never pick a fight with a tomato.

I like both these ideas. Hey I have another one. Select all but one seedling, and give the extras away as gifts to someone I know who's grown cherry tomatoes before
Thanks for your help everyone!
