I broke my 2nd and 3rd metatarsal bones about 4 weeks ago. My doctor gave me a walking boot and said they would take 3 MONTHS to heal. I think he gave this long of a time because it takes 6 weeks for one to heal so he just doubled that.
My foot has no pain and I can easily bare weight on it.
Does anyone have experience with breaking 2 bones at once? If so, is 3 months an accurate estimate for it to heal?
Pic related. Although they don't look like it, they are broken all the way through.
3 months is nothing brah
How'd you break it? Curious

Well bones take a long time to heal and never heal fully. I fractured my rib and it's been a long time but when it's cold etc it still twinges a little . It'll be a while but it'll become tolerable
This sounds like a joke. Mate, I really doubt some faggots on the internet know better than your doctor. Even if there was a doctor here he couldn't give you competent advice without examining you, the time your bones take to heal depend on a lot of things like diet, habits, hormone levels, sex, age etc.
If you believe your doctor is incompetent go to a different doctor for a second opinion. Not to strangers on the internet. I'm also curious, how did you break it?

Not op but I broke one of mine playing soccer bear foot and my buddy stepped on my foot and one of my toes ended up pointing up and to the right
Six weeks is normal for bones you can completely rest, like an arm or wrist. Three months for a break like that on your foot is normal.

Oh how smart I am. I know better than my doctor.
