I quit smoking a while ago. I switched to a vape and my hair has been thinning on top.
Doctor says it might be stress or nicotine, he's not sure.
Is nicotine causing my hair to thin? Pic unrelated

Put less nicotine in your vape. Whether thats the cause or not, it's a win win.
Does vape juice even have a standard nicotine dosage or does it vary by brand?
correlation does not equal causation

You're right I checked erowid and looked at nicotine dosage. My dose is far beyond normal. I use 3mg juice but I'm vaping constantly throughout the day so my nicotine levels are high as fuck.
I'm gonna switch to 1.5 juice and limit intake.

>Is it nicotine?
What kind of answers are you expecting to receive? Are you hoping that someone will tell you "Oh, no, it can't be the nicotine anon!" so that you can feel good about taking the advice of a poster on an anonymous image board over that of your educated physician? Why would you even spend the time/money to go to a doctor if this is how you react to what they tell you? I have so many questions.

Glad to help anon. Take care of your hair. I've seen what happens to people that lose it. Smoking is not worth it. Good luck.
