I ate undercooked wild meat and a few weeks later I felt something in my rectal area / colon periodically. I spoke with my doctor who directed me to a couple other doctors but they didn't find the smoking gun. Meanwhile, 4 months have passed and I have nothing to show for my effort, except I can't sleep unless I eat garlic, because something tickles my insides at night otherwise. I'm running out of ideas, and need help. Long story incoming in next post...

tl;dr : I ate undercooked wild meat, and I've 99% got a parasite, but tests showed nothing, so far. What do?

You fucking idiot, that's like rule 1 of living inthe wild, sterilize food aa did water. Yet your simple ass could not do that. Okay fucck goof, tell the doctor you ate raw wild meat camping. If he asks it was during a Native American ritual of koyotete, it was for religious purposes (Idk make a excuse) tell them everything that shit is serious
>>
>>18218355
He told his dr that I'm sure

You should ask some actual Indians or some hicks
They'll probably give you some cayenne lemon fetus remedy to get it out
>>
Garlic has strong antifungal properties, not sure if it bothers animals too.
>>
>>18218333
humans have survived for millions of years before civilization by cooking their food. And then the evolutionary chain finally reached you.
>>
>>18218363
I don't get it, if he told his doctor then what the fuck can we tell him
>>
At night I feel something tickling inside the end of the colon. It happens after I lay down, but I feel it during the day less intense. Like I'm being challenged to fight. Like a bird that you see on the ground, or tweeting up a tree. As if he is inviting you to try to catch it. His fitness depends upon being able to evade, so he invites you to try. And when you fail, he retains or improves his fitness.

Anyway, I've been self medicating with raw garlic, and it worked for a while, but now its taking more. So I need ideas. I noticed during daytime I think it's not a bug. Then night comes, and I panic that its a bug, when it starts. It almost seems like it's releasing chemicals to influence me. The sensation occurs in the day, but its subtle. At night, it keeps me from sleeping unless I do something. It has been hell.

I went to my doctor, and he had me see someone who did a colonoscopy and a partial xray but they didn't see anything. I also did a few stool samples (which are commonly reported online as poor indicators). This took a number of months, all the meanwhile I'm being tormented. I think it's probably not a tapeworm, as those don't move much and I think are higher up the GI tract. I don't know if it's some other helminth: a roundworm, or fluke. The former seems more likely. The meat was an ungulate.

It's not lack of fiber, and a dozen other things I considered didn't hold up.

Finding a bug doctor is my next plan. It's better than the surgeon who told me to 'live with it'. Anyone have any other advice?

Idk why anyone ever asks medical questions here of all places

Op try consulting different drs and specialists, telling them everything

Drs can tend to overlook things when they don't fit the mold they memorize perfectly and it's a lot of guesswork with odd things. Having as many different views as finically possible will solve your problem the fastest
>>
>>18218413
Forgot to add, this is OP.
>>
>>18218413
Hey >>18218417 here
Disregard what I said and see a mental health professional
>>
>>18218333
eat a shit ton and then take tons of laxatives
>>
>>18218413
Anon a old remedy to tape worm is starving yourself and waiting for the bug to exit your anus after 3-5 days.when it happens you will feel something cold. On your asshole, when it starts to peak, sit on the toilet and pull like hell.quick as you can. The worm will atach itself to the wall of the intestines if you give it a chance. Pull hard and quick. It's a lot easier if you have a doctor or friend to help. If this won't work seek psychological help immediately you're insane
>>
>>18218413
Pinworms? At night, the female crawls out of the human's anus to lay eggs around the hole. It's highly contagious and often causes people to lose sleep. Barring that, if nothing was found, seek therapy.
>>
>>18218422
If it's in my head, that's great. At least I know what the problem is.

If it's not, this approach doesn't help, and I will be stuck months from now in the same position I am in today.

Time will tell, I guess.
>>
Anon just buy some antiparasitic medicine in your local vet and eat it yourself
>>
>>18218552
careful you don't destroy his liver. better to do it the right way
>>
>>18218369
Yea, and average life expectancy was like 35 years. Nice argument.
>>
this thread is hilarous for some reason
>>
one time when i was younger i put my finger up my bum, and when i pulled it out there was a small white worm wriggling on the end of my finger. i threw it across the room and prayed for it.
>>

>>18218413
Sounds to me like this is psychosomatic and you're imagining things. I can imagine the faces that the doctors where making while you were describing the problem to them.

>self medicating with raw garlic
That isn't doing anything, trust me.

Yeah and those number are skewed by child mortality, a man who saw his 21st birthday could expect to see his 60th birthday.
>>
>>18218413
you're crazy, legit crazy.
>>
OP here, I do have latent mental issues but I've had them for over a decade. I've never had any physical sensation like this. And it's only been in the last 4 months that this sensation has occured. Calling someone crazy is an easy cop out on true discussion, which the shills and turfers use to sway discussion into inane territory online.

However yes, this could be related to stress, and it's possible that bad chemicals in my brain are causing some kind of electrical response that manifests as a tangible sense, or stress is causing the bowels to spasm. It's definitely something to consider, so I appreciate the input.

>>18219098
The symptoms go away a short time after eating garlic. This is a fact. I can eat turnips but they don't do shit. I don't need to justify myself on this, and I don't need to prove it to you.

It is not 'imagined'. It's a tangible sensation, as real as any other sense of touch. Whether or not it is bad electrical signals causing some kind of nerve to spasm is debatable.
>>
>>18219461
OP again, so it could be related to my mental state. I will admit. But I've lived with this mental state for some time, and physical spasms are unheard of. Maybe it's deeper territory for my illness.

Or maybe it's a bug. Fucked if I know.
>>
>>18219461
For the record, the sense of touch/sensation I'm talking about, is something at the turn of the sig/rectal colon is moving. Nerve, bug, crap, etc. The bowels won't settle down. Something is engaging those nerves. I've looked and found stool mostly*. I shouldn't be actively feeling these nerves, a doctor said.

The feelings are periodic, and depend on time of day, diet, and whether I'm standing, sitting, or lying down.
>>
>>18219461
>The symptoms go away a short time after eating garlic.
Placebo. Garlic isn't magic, it's supposed health effects are mostly bullshit and there's nothing relevant in garlic that would actually reach your colon without being apsorbed into your blood while it's going through your small intestines.

>It is not 'imagined'. It's a tangible sensation, as real as any other sense of touch
Anxiety can cause all kinds of physical sensations, including muscle spasms and tingling.
>>
>>18219570
If eaten enough, Garlic gives you assloads of gas which come from the large intestine. It scares away people around me, I wouldn't be surprised if it scares away a bug.

Also makes you exert scent through your pores, and assumedly everywhere else. Let's assume from the bloodstream as you said.
