Had some surgery December last year, and I've got some scars as a result. I used Mederma every day for eight weeks, but the scars are still pretty angry looking. One in particular's been giving me problems, it's raised up on my skin. Just recently scratched the fuck out of it and had to stop everything and think about what I'd done while riding out the pain.
What's the best way to reduce/fade scars? And is my situation one that will get better with time?
>Scars
>Fordyce spots
>Cellulite
>Dark eye circles
I can go on and on about shit that isn't solved by any cream that keeps getting sold to retarded women.
You can get surgery to remove SOME of your scar tissue, but otherwise you're just going to have to wait for them to fade. By the time they do, you're going to be too old to give a shit.

I'm fine with most of them, it's just the one that's especially red and raised up on my skin. I apparently can't absentmindedly scratch my stomach without my nail getting caught on that one scar. It's more about how it's raised than how it looks. Not looking to get surgery to remove scars less than an inch long though
I would try polysporin or something similar that would help with redness and iratation. I'm not sure if it would completely remove the scar for that I would ask a doctor they would probably get you scar reducing cream that works.
Hope this helps

Thanks man, appreciate your help!
I had surgery recently, and the doctor slipped with the scalpel and made more cuts then he should have.
I applied this vitamin E ointment every day for nearly a year now and it's so faded I can barely see most of it now, the difference is huge.

I don't think 8 weeks is very long to be applying.
Look into silicone sheets, they help flatten raised scars. Proven more effective than maderma.
