There are many options so just try something out. Realise that you don't have to be instantly excited about something. Just ensure taht you are not reluctant whatsoever when engaging an activity. Examples:
volountary work (community, any), theatre class, choir (culture any) ,taking up ANY sport (very broad preferred ), some cummunity whatsoever: think about religion (raning from atheism: crazy atheist humanists on a pilgrimage to spread their ideology or crazy theists on a pilgrimage to spread theirs).

Wherever people socialize. In my country you mostly meet new people through school, uni, work or hobbies. If there are women and they see your face every week you aren't a stranger to them and vice versa in a short time and you can easily take your time to get to know each other.
