So I had a job interview yesterday for a social media marketing position. During the interview, I told the HR person that I would send them an email later that day with some links to my video and written content...
BUT I sent the email to a .org instead of .com address. This was 28 hours ago, and their mail system just notified me, 20 minutes ago that my email didn't go through.
So obviously, I resent the email ASAP. But now I'm all worried that it makes me look bad. Like, I'm a liar because I didn't send the email that day as I implied. SO should I email or call the recuiter (I have their card) and mention the email snafu, or just it be?

Unless they rescinded their offer because you technically didn't send the email, you should be fine.

Yooooo chill
Just send the email and keep looking for interviews
why didn't you just explain it in the email?

You should have mentioned the snafu in the original email - but it would not hurt to send a followup note explaining the mistake.

What do you think about this for the follow up?
Andrea,
I originally sent you this email shortly after our interview yesterday. However, I mistakenly put .org on the end of your email address and it didn't go through. Please excuse this delay.
Have a nice weekend,

Everything's fine except the "Andrea" bit. You should say "Bob" instead.
