Last time I had sex WAS a serious relationship. Part of the reason I ended it was that the sex just wasn't very good, and she wanted to fuck in every room of the house at all hours of the day while I just wasn't interested at all. Keep in mind I wasn't looking at porn or jerking off - I was avoiding porn like a fucking fiend hoping I could keep it hard long enough to satisfy her. I started actively avoiding sex, telling her I was tired and shit, or was hanging out with friends, etc. Doctor said I didn't have any hormone issues or anything... haven't been checked since though.

There were other reasons, but meh. I've become disillusioned with love, I don't think I'll ever really find it. But that's probably best saved for another thread. It's not because I'm undesirable or bitter at women or anything either.

Once the novelty of sleeping around wares off, you start to be more conservative with who you decide to put the effort into pursuing. Don't get me wrong, I am not tired of sex at all, but many women simply just lay there and expect you to do all the work which depending on how much work I've put into getting to know them, taking them out, or in a few situations putting up with their bullshit, can really be a let down once we hit the sheets.

But overall, especially since you've never been with a girl, I'd say it is, especially if you find the right girl who is really into you. When you and your partner are really into each other that is when sex is by far the best, and absolutely worth the effort. Good luck.
