What's brainlet? A brainiac might lack in some areas that a brainlet excels at. I am studying CS but I have no friends and hate myself due to having no skills except being able to think logically. It fucking sucks to define your life around academia because there's always 50000 cunts better than you.

Just do something that seems interesting enough and also has some kind of route into a job. Business, accounting, finance, architecture, nursing, IT, media, etc. All of these don't require genius and lead to nice jobs. You can be big brain and get a physics degree but you're still not gonna get a job faster than a nurse or IT guy
