The issue is probably everyone is silently used to just stepping over you. Next time it happens, speak even louder to the person who did it and say "Excuse me, what the fuck?"

The problem is that you have to start making people aware they're doing it, and start speaking out

Thats happened to me alot too. I realized I have a low, monotone voice. I am also quite boring. People simply aren't interested by me. Im just a lump of skin in the room that makes audible low sounds.

It really is an ahpha/beta thing. You have conditioned yourself over years to let others interrupt.

What you do is in a conversation, listen intently and honestly to everything the other person has to say. When they stop talking, respond or make your point. When they try to put you in your beta position by interrupting, politely say im almost finished or one second i need to finish. If the persist say, it seems like you dont want me to talk, and just stare at them while they defend themselves. They will eventually be trained to listen without interrupting.

I had this problem with a friend and finally spoke up about it. He stopped rather painlessly.
Talking fast isn't exactly a good thing either. Talk normal. Clear and concise.

Just keep talking as if the interruption didn't happen, maybe raise the volume a tad but don't yell or be shrill.

If they try to drown you out, correct them as if they are a child doing a naughty behavior that is stupidly, obviously wrong. Again, do not yell.

I'm a grill in a mostly male work environment, so my voice does not carry as far as a man's. Yet if you as a woman stammer or raise your voice, you go shrill and sound emotional, which doesn't help you get taken seriously. Neither does drowning everyone else in a bombastic baritone. You just irritate people.

Don't show that it bothers you, just keep your part of the conversation going and they will catch on. I've had some tell me they genuinely could not hear me, which is fair, so I try to keep the cadence of my voice even and at a slightly higher volume, but not too high.
