There was something I was thinking about going to my program coordinator for, but I'm not sure if I should.
Basically, from what I could tell, a test I took today had 100% of its answers in the review our prof gave us. Word for word or very identical to the exact answers. We could bring our own notes to reference during the test, and those that happened to bring a copy of the review basically had a free pass on the test. No thinking needed, just copy the notes they brought with them. There will be other classes taking this test later in the week, and as they learn this news they’ll get easy As too.
I wasn’t one of those people. The test’s questions covered only two questions/topic that were on the review, but there was A LOT more we were told to study for. I wrote 30+ pages of notes for this test but they were almost completely useless because the clear majority of what we were told to study wasn’t on there. ¾ of the test was about a single topic I barely studied for because I was so focused on everything else.
Do I have a right to be angry? Is there any point in bringing this up with a higher power?

>do i have the right to be angry
of course, there is no legal restrictions on being angry.
>is there any point in bringing this up with a higher power
god cannot save you.

>Do I have a right to be angry?
No, you win some you lose some. Your fault for not bringing the review your fucking prof gave you. You fucked up.
>Is there any point in bringing this up with a higher power?
Dont be a snitch you fucking narc.

I just find it unfair that people who don't study or understand the material could expect an A, while I'd be screwed over of not not thinking to bring the review answers with me among all the other things I had. I assumed that what I had would be good enough, and that the review was meant to practice the course's material, not the actual material for the test.

Mate thats life. All you can do it eat that bad grade and learn for next time. Do you really wanna be the guy who snitches on his class and causes a huge problem?
>>18190314
i mean in his defense its literally
>open notes
and you didnt bother bringing your homework.
>>18190333
> didn't do your homework
Sure. So the small novel of notes I brought based off 10 weeks of material and multiple crip sheets means nothing. All the hours of studying, nothing. I have done fine (in my program, through the years) on all other tests with only one sheet or none at all, but because I didn't bring and print ($$$) with me every damn thing I could think of for this course I'm a chump? Despite the tests being made to cover 10 weeks of material, I need to be okay with 3/4 of it being about one sub topic in one week????

get used to this, all professors do this- they add questions not on the review sheet or are way harder versions. i understand youre upset, i was upset too the first time that happened to me. youll get over it.

If anything id get pissed at the prof about the material not the fact everyone else lucked out. Talk to him and tell him you studied the fuck out of everything else and he fucked you over. Probably wont do any good but voice your opinion about his shitty test making skills.
