Im supposed to go get my taxes done today and I haven't been able to find my W-2s from 2016. Ive looked through a lot of other papers and mail and found nothing. I guess I can reschedule, but how do I get my W-2s? Anyone else have this happen to them?

Can you go into HR and ask for another copy? Can you download a digital copy off the employers website?

I made an appointment six weeks ago. The cpa I use is very busy. Granted I could have gotten my papers together back then. Never had this problem before in the 30 plus years I've used him.

30 years? Find it hard to believe that you don't know how to get a copy of your W2...
Should just file yourself. I filed late Jan. No waiting for "busy" tax "professionals".
