Chemist.
There's a lot of employers though who don't really give a shit what you studied. I'm a bureaucrat despite studying chemistry

Thanks professor
For more context of other skills I have knowledge of English Spanish and Russian. I also have knowledge of computer hardware and some programming knowledge in python and c++ (not near the level of a cs student probably)
Do chemical engineering instead.

Good luck, anon. I used to be a Chem major but switched to the engineering equivalent because the job prospects are a bit more comfy. I hope you do some cool research projects though, definitely gutted I missed out on those things!

I have respect for engineering but truth is I have more interest in the research side of things , I understand I'll make less but I don't value the money in that way

You think so? I hear it's good there

What field of research interests you?
