and chances are, yes it is, they are literally conspiring to commit crimes and forcing you to do it. thats illegal anywhere english is spoken.

A good start here would be to come clean with your uni that this is a thing happening rn, im pretty confident they'd be more concerned with you being blackmailed than what you said. Not to mention it looks better if you tell people prior to them telling people, gives you the advantage.
You did also say "they got me drunk", I'd say that'd strengthen your case with the uni, IF they learn about your fear and situation before they do it for you.

Let them go to the university, or even better record them blackmailing you. Whatever you do, do not break the law. For all you know they're planning on turning you in. A racist joke is not a big deal, I don't care if you said they should gas all the niggers. Breaking the law could be a huge deal depending on the law.

Last halloween kids got drunk and dressed up as Vietnamese and Chinese people for halloween and that was enough to have them expelled. I think my joke would get me expelled as well and I don't know if coming clean would work. The people blackmailing me don't go to the university so they probably wouldn't care about them.

Sure someone uploads it onto social media, you win the court case and have a legal right to have it removed, and have the ability to sue for slander in addition to blackmail.
