Any anons here ever given everything up and moved to a different country for a fresh start?
I'm finding myself in a near constant state of boredom here and I'm not the sort of person that is going to settle down any time soon. I'm a pretty avid traveller and I was thinking about renting and apartment in Thailand or something, probably only a temporary thing.
Is this a dumb idea?

You are limited by resources aka money and your own imaginations.
Of you have cash why not? Dont forget to get travelers healthcare insurance and educate yourself about country where you go to.

No matter how far you travel, you'll never get away from yourself. The novelty of a new country will wear off shortly, and then you'll be stuck with just yourself again
>took a year studying in China
>very cool for about 6 months and then I was back to me again
It depends if you're in a bad situation and trying to escape, or if you are capable of change but unwilling.
If it's the former you'll improve then have to come back to the shitty environment that made you the way you were, which I'm my experience almost pushed me to suicide.
Then again, you have one life so do what you want while you're still able to.

Makes you think.

if you're bored by your entire country you'll be bored by an entire different country too.
