I have to write a researched argument essay, but I don't have any idea what to write about. I need something that is easy to write about but isn't so obscure that I can't find any peer reviewed research on it.
Can anybody give me some ideas?

-how likely is atmospheric collapse on tidally-locked planets?
-were ESOPs successful in the 80s or did THE REPUBLICAN SHIT PIGS end them just to spite working class americans?
