I stare blankly at stuff for hours at an end and have a weird empty feeling inside of me. I listen to music while I do this and think a lot. What has happened to me? This has never happened before.

I think you might just be depressed, my man. I've had phases where that's all I did outside of work and school for weeks. Diagnosed major depressive disorder.
