Does this mean I have to stop looking at online porn, now?

Eh, just do what I do and don't give a shit.

If people want to know my degenerate fetishes, let them. It won't matter one of these days.
>>
Eh Pornhub already suggests stuff based on my taste and cookies so whatever. I just wish I could get a cut of the cash from selling my privacy.
>>
Just use VPNs my man. I use Cyberghost cos it's free.

Or you can go full paranoid and use Tails OS.

No, but it means my employer will know I'm a furfag if they pay my ISP to tell them.

I'd prefer if they didn't but if they do I really don't care. I work in a union so my boss can't just fire me because I'm a degenerate.
>>
>>18174816
Could that actually happen?

Like, could I walk into work and find out I was fired because my boss looked and found my furry futa hentai or that I browse Yugioh sites all the time?

I imagine future in usa where you apply for a job or rent from bank and they look up your social media and complete web search and makes a profile of you.

The only real question remains:
will liking NTR put you ahead of vanilla or bellow?
>>
>>18175009
If you work a job that is "at will employment" they can fire you at any time for any reason. So if you're working one then yes that could happen.

ISPs already know the nasty shit you browse, but now private companies will use your history for marketing purposes, data, etc.

Kind of bad desu, since that would mean shit like anime filesharing will get tracked really fast and making it the end of "piracy".

I wrote this last night. I'm going to use it again.

Let me give you the lowdown of what this means for you, the consumer, and your personal information, as an advertiser that buys millions of dollars worth of this information to get in front of you.

It means basically jack shit.

See, I don't give two everliving fucks, that you, Anon P. Anonerson, visits a BDSM site, or Googles loli porn, or that when you were 11 you took a shit in your sister's panties and rubbed them on the family cat.

I care if within the foreseeable future, your ass wants to buy a hotel room in one of the cities in which my company sells hotel rooms. It used to be that I'd have to buy data from a company like Google or Expedia or something to get reliable data that existed in your cookies/IP/device ID/magic that showed that you were looking to book a hotel room. They have all of your data shit and could sell it to us because you opted in by using their site. Then I can serve you ads.

Now, I can get more accurate information from an ISP with more real-time data from cookies that don't expire, from data you can't really delete or opt out of as easily as you can cookied information. And I can be more guaranteed of who I'm actually advertising to, since your ISP knows exactly who is paying for the bill, rather than predictive modeling off of your browsing habits.

Anyways, you shouldn't worry.

Never, NEVER use a free VPN. They make money by selling your shit. Check out this site if you want to get a VPN: https://thatoneprivacysite.net/choosing-the-best-vpn-for-you/

Personally, I use Private Internet Access, but I'm worried they're getting too popular. I'm happy with their service for the past year though.

And yes, this does matter. Insurance companies would fucking love to know which applicants have been googling cancer symptoms.

I'm a security engineer, working for a consulting firm. A couple of our clients sell information, usually for credit checks. Web browsing info is fucking gold to them. Also, a lot of them suck at security, and I could see a breach making all this info public.

P.S. never get a free credit report anywhere other than annualcreditreport.com if you don't want your bank, future landlords, etc. knowing a out the dragon dildos you're buying

I'm pretty sure they are still obligated to sell the information anonymously meaning they aren't allowed to sell it in a way that personally identifies you.

The whole basis they had for removing the privacy protections was that it wasn't fair since Google, Twitter, Facebook, etc. didn't have the same restrictions and those faggots have always been selling your info anonymously officially.

I'm aware that Imgur.com will stop allowing adult images since 15th of May. I'm taking actions to backup as much data as possible.
