I keep getting an IP/Range ban on a certain board and for no apparent reason (I haven't broken any rules, posted illegal content, gotten any warnings or even gotten a ban). Someone said that it could be someone from my IP range, but that's impossible to find out.
Is there a way, without paying money for a pass, to change my IP range?

Pic's more interesting than the question. Also, >>>/g/

Don't suggest /g/ to him, they don't even talk about troubleshooting network stuff. It's more a fucking wank about AMD or Intel.
OP, you can spoof your IP address but I assume you should find out who is also posting on 4chan on your network. I assume you are on a school / college network? This is the only time I have ever hear about this happening

No, home one. Personal. I've reset my router like I normally do if I have to change IP, but I still get pic related. I'm not very tech savvy desu, so I feel dumb.
I can't make any posts anymore because it tells me I didn't solve he CAPTCHA when I did. Please help a femanon out.
I assume you have a dynamic IP from your provider. If you change your modems MAC address you will most likely get a different IP. You are not the only one on the IP range. A range is more than an address. Someone else who gets their IP from that provider, and that same DHCP server is probably causing your ban. The most simple way to change your MAC is to get a different device. If you use cable you need to register the device with the service provider, if you use DSL you do not.

If you're a mobilefag it happens sometimes because you change ips when you move around.

mobilefag here with the same problem
So is the site detecting my device as some sort of bot or ban evader?
