Probably just told you that cause you talked like a retard. I mean, it sounds like they were only trying to protect you from like low self esteem or something. Updated: I asked, apparently I was born in the US, but they traveled a lot with me as a kid sooo that explains that confusion. As far as nationality I have zero clue.
