Is there a possibility to open a credit account without a bank membership or money at all?
I know building credit is useful and all but what I really need is a way to obtain materials needed for finding a job.
Literally nobody to lifeline and ask for assistance for shit like filling my tank or getting presentable interview clothes.
Shit ill walk across town if I have to but there's no chance of employment looking like a shlubby tramp.
Tl;dr Can I get a credit card without any other financial resources whatsoever?

Don't be an idiot. Get a job.

Maybe just get literally the worst job you can find until you can sustain yourself, getting into debt will only make the problem worse in my experience.

Genuine input dude thanks. but that's not the question. My clothes are in tatters, had most of them for 8-9 years. I would like to look like I'm worth hiring.
Lol I even chopped of my own hair but it looks so badly done that I may just shave it.

What kind of jobs are you going for anon?

Maybe I was too dismissed of this response

Is saying the same thing but framed a bit more usefully.
It looks as though you both are right, the job part has to come first, a shitty miserable minimum job. I hope my stupid food handlers card isn't expired.

The one I'm eying is a simple administrative position at the YWCA. Just sort papers in HE, basically a secretary but shit, its above minimum in my state and it seems like it could go somewhere up the latter unlike the damned kitchen in all these tanking chain restaurants.
The rest of the prospects are in the same area, they're semi casual attire paper pushing jobs but that'd be effin great right now.

Also sorry for the grammar mistakes I know it might be a hard read

I think the best thing would be to get yourself on your feet (even if it means chain restaurants) hell, im in one now just to earn some cash.
I also do a bit of market research on the internet just to earn some extra dough where I can.

Maybe once you are on your feet. explaining to the paper pushing job that you dont see yourself working in a kitchen long term would be a bit more of a selling point for you?
