currently work on gas station in 3rd country its first job, there for 1 mont, poor, parents in debt and shit, living in different city with uncle, no rent and all. parents in rural part.
will give a shot french foreign legion in september, quit college 3 years ago, life messed up and shit, dad had small shop and lost it to banks... well whatever, you kinda get it i guess... is french foreign legion too radical decision? should i stay and work my ass off here, or just say fuck it? how do i keep my chin up in general? i understand i wont make it in legion too with tis attidude...i used to be mentally tough af but i broke at some point now...

Ive been going a few years being content then depression is hitting me hard this past week or so and making me wonder about how much of my life to change.
I dont know where to begin. If you are still young the military might not be a bad idea at all. In the US its 4 years then your life is given back to you, but with plenty of training and benefits.
I have similar problems with poor parents and giving up on college and not knowing how to find a good paying job.

idk i want to join legion, but i feel bad for parents, didnt see them for month and half, and when i visited them, i never seen them happier before. thats what keeps me tinking about joining legion. i will not get to see them for like 5 years
if it wasnt them id be there now probably..
i still havent figured what makes me happy..... seems like moving out got me little depressed

its worse by far what ive read, in basic military you wont get sent for basic training to jungle or pile of shit.... legion will be hell of experience, but also some of the worst days of mans life i guess

I am 26 and now still dont know what to do with my own life and havnt gone far from my parents.
My advice to my 21 year old self would be to do what I want to do, not what others are keeping me around for. My life is wasting away from indecision and fear of making any new commitments.
Maybe there is another answer out there for a career and happiness, but you can't stagnate by spending too much time trying to find it.
