There are a few ways in which you could handle this.

You could try to get into her laptop/phone/whatever. Almost everybody has a bunch of private information (conversations, browsing history, porn, pics etc) they'd hate to see exposed. And then you could do the same thing she's doing.

Maybe you can find whatever conversations she has and delete them. I doubt she'd make too many back-ups.

You could also try to reason with her. Tell her it's just joking around, everybody does it and ask why she's so upset about it. Try to understand where she's coming from. She may appreciate your efforts and sincerity.

Or you could just tell her to go fuck herself and publish the conversations or whatever she wants. From what you're saying it's nothing too bad, most likely no one would give a crap. Although you were kind of vague and it's giving me the impression you're underplaying it a little. What was that bothered her about the conversations anyway?
